In A Family Trip, the artist traces back to an undocumented family trip, unfolded by her mother reading poems in the dialect from her faraway hometown, over a series of shots before and after a sunrise happened along Connecticut’s coast where she currently resides, and feels disassociated and alienated, accompanied by an ambiguous identity.
